| Biography: | National headliners converged with top local and regional acts for 80/35 on July 4th and 5th in downtown Des Moines’ Western Gateway Park. The inaugural music festival featured more than 40 cutting-edge, progressive acts performing on four stages. The festival will return on July 3 and 4, 2009. |

Plans for 2009 are announced with the dates Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, 2009 set for the second 80/35. Event organizers, the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition are currently in discussions with the City of Des Moines and Parks and Recreation Department for a 2009 location.
