88.1 FM - KCFY THANKSGIVING WEEK! WoW!!! Hard to believe it's already here... (and even harder to believe I'm not celebrating THANKSGIVING...EVERY DAY!) *No, not w/ Turkey & Dressing... or eating ones self into a comatose state...but recognizing, DAILY blessings.* ((Am I the only one in need of a gratitude reminder?))
88.1 FM - KCFY DAY 5 of FALL SHARATHON - 2009... Even during a time of famine...GOD HAS PROVIDED!!! *As of this morning...at about 9:15 a.m....ALL 3 stages have been met!!!* Because of God working through KCFY listeners...and a local Air Conditioning company... SHARATION 2009 has been successful!!! - ALL goals and needs have been met!!!
88.1 FM - KCFY As of 6p.m. (Day 4) - $4,285 of the $6,000 computer project has already been pledged! Day 5 of Sharathon to start, again tomorrow, at 6 a.m. We will continue with the goal of completing the computer project and making some headway on what is needed for the Air Conditioner at the transmitter. *Still Prayin' & Pressin' On!!!*
88.1 FM - KCFY *We are waiting for details, but may have some assistance, with transmitter AC* With hope, the a/c cost can be eliminated or reduced, we'll go to the next pressing matter. The rack mounted computers, in studio, are 6 yrs old and run 24 hours a day! (Since anything after five years, could be considered "borrowed time" t...hese NEED replacing, before problems force down-time) $6,000 is the NEED to accomplish this project.
88.1 FM - KCFY GOD has provided the 1st Goal of $75,000! PRAISE JESUS!!! ... Now, we begin stage two... Appx. $6,000 is the pressing need, in order to cool the transmitter...& preserve the $20,000+ transmitter.
