One of the greatest films ever made. Shocking, disturbing, wonderful, powerful and moving.

This is my favorite movie! This shows us how Stanley Kubrick can shock the nation! Purely genious! This movie is full of unforgetable images, quotes and of course... music! I bought the sound track along with the 2-disk special edition and a poster! I never thought I'd like Beethoven's music until i first saw it 2 months ago!
Stanley's best movie ever!

i saw this movie at the young age of 13, just one year ago, and i know. a person that age could never understand the true value of this great movie, but i did. while many people could never fully stand the things that happen in this movie, like the rape scene, but you just need to look past those things and watch the movie for what it really is. it is a great movie, my all time favorite. it has a great cast, great music, and great use of words. all together it is a great movie. it may seem like a horrible movie, but it isn't. all the things people say about it, and what they show on tv, isn't even the half of it. everyone has their own way of talking about the film. if someone says, "don't see it it is horrible", don't listen to them. it is a really goodmovie. today the stuff in it woun't even seem as bad as what we see in movies today. an all together great movie.

It was the first film of Kubrick series that I've watched so far.Actually,it was my worst favourite film and maybe this type of film is not my cup of tea:((
At first, I had difficulty in entering into the film of its evoking surprising, violent, awful and disgusting feelings while watching those scenes but to be honest,I couldn't succeed to do that again. To sum,I prefer to "read it rather than watch it".However, it can be really a good film in terms of the features of this genre...

I first watched this film when I was at the tender age of fourteen, which left me at a crossroads of emotions; scared, shocked, angry and moved. I have seen some pretty graphic flicks in my life; Saw, Texas Chainsaw Massacure, The Amityville Horror, The Blair Witch Project and another of Kubrick's - The shining, but this definatley tops my list of thrillers.
At such a young age I should have never have watched it, although it is one of the greatest films ever made (or for the time, at least) I became obsessed with the ultra-violence, the brutality, the language and of course - the music. Now at an age rational enough to overcome the obseen scenes and unsettling realism, I am proud to say it is one of my most favourite films without feeling guilty about it.
By the way, brilliant minimalist and futuristic setting, pieced together with a beautiful score. Scary, cheesy (now that it has aged a little) and super cool, this fick gets five stars.

It was a great film... It's scary how the sort of behavior shown in the film is now happening outside our homes.
