Gayle Kirshenbaum is an Emmy award winning filmmaker, TV producer, personality, host and inspirational speaker. She is the creator and star of the documentary MY NOSE (www.kirschenbaumproductions.com/mynose), a film festival favorite playing worldwide. MY NOSE is based on Gayle’s experience with her mother, who insist...ed that her daughter get a nose job since she was 15. Gayle and her mother visit various plastic surgeons in a hilarious adventure where the only augmentation is in the personal relationship between mother and daughter. Gayle is also the creator and costar (together with Chelsea, her Shih Tzu “dog-ter”) of the critically praised film A DOG’S LIFE: A DOGAMENTARY (www.dogamentary.com) which premiered on HBO and has been featured all over the media. A wacky, poignant documentary about the positive effects of the bond between dogs and humans, A DOG’S LIFE follows Gayle and Chelsea, rigged with a “doggie cam,” through the streets of New York City as they go looking for love. Then 9/11 happens. Chelsea emerges as a healing force as a therapy dog and is crowned New Yorker of the Week when she brings her first person out of a coma. Kirschenbaum created and sold to Discovery LITTLE PARENTS, BIG PREGNANCY, a reality show, which premiered June 2009 and THE LITTLE KINGS, which is in production. Gayle co-created the television series JUDGEMENT DAY: SHOULD THE GUILTY GO FREE, whose pilot aired on HBO. Kirschenbaum Productions, LLC is in production on a feature documentary called MY NOSE: THE BIGGER VERSION, and in development on the feature film LOOK WHO’S TICKING, and several TV series, including BODY PARTS, and MELTING POT. Gayle has been widely featured in the media including The New York Times, NBC’s Today Show, CBS’s Early Show, Fox TV, Oxygen TV, the Ladies Home Journal, Washington Post and O Magazine. Kirschenbaum is represented at N. S. Bienstock by Katie Maloney. Read More
