http://www.facebook.com/inbox/#/group.php?gid=2408820953

There are two TeamType1 groups -- in the past 3 days we have gone from 300 total members to just over 1000. Want 2000 more to match the miles (3000 miles) the team will start to ride June 11th. They ride for five days - we will be blogging results off of http://teamtype1.org

Can you ask friends to join group? Can we be like the biggest diabetes group ever?

Thanks for your help!!!!!!

This is a fantastic program! After two NASA internships with your help I have become an application and web programmer for a University of Houston downtown and am moving up quickly toward design and management work (a position that literature on Aspergers says is near-impossible for Aspies like myself attain)! Not bad for a guy who, before the program, was stuck in retail.

Much thanks too Laureen Sommers (sp.?), Patrick Hogan, Chris Jordan (could be the best programmer in the US) and the whole NASA open-source software team along with Tong Sang and the entire MER management team. Without a doubt people related to this program have about ten good actions for every good word of credit they give themselves and an almost altruistic degree of trust in myself and others: I feel honored to have worked with you all. :-)
