I think that this series is amazing because for once there is a a story about 20 something year olds and this is the time when we're encouraged to seek out the world, to have dreams and aspirations. ABC great job on focusing on young adults, we're often ignored, but this shows that there are young adults who are out to make a difference in a growing, changing world. AMAZING!

I have always been very big fan of ABC world news and when I first saw the series, I was amazed by it. Considering what is goes on and is going on right now in all around the world, we get to see future generation of today’s world, which is much important. I am a young Indian-American who carries both cultures values in herself. I am really impressed to see that while everyone in the series are trying to achieve their dreams; they are still carrying their values and cultures with them. I hope that ABC continues to bring series like this and keep informing the viewers. We all need to know that there is so much more we all need to learn about the world itself. Also, I hope that ABC news does follow up on the series. I would like to Thank you to ABC news for bringing this very informative series and keep up the good job.
"Innovative" series
by Joe at 9:41pm on April 28th, 2008
While this series is not an in-depth look at cultural differences of people my age, it is encouraging for a national broadcaster to remind the American public that differences do exist and they are people too. Moreover, everyone you interviewed was just as -- if not more so -- ambitious, hard-working, intelligent, and promising as people we see in the states (like persons of the week). I think this series is a great wake-up call to the older generation that my generation will be more integrated, more connected, and hopefully more peaceful. We see that my peers across the world have a desire to better themselves through perseverance -- what we call the American Dream.

I've been watching ABC World News for easily 15 years now (of my 22 total -- this was the show we watched for family dinner), and this series is by far the most innovative I've seen. Please continue exploring the differences of cultures to help reduce abject ignorance of our colleagues and friends overseas.
A GREAT SERIES...YOU SHOULD DO MORE!!!

I was very inspired by all of the stories aired on World News. As a small town girl who decided to go to the big city to go to college, I love to hear about people my age and how they live in other parts of the world. I think that this series promoted Americans who think that America is the best and only country in the world to look around and see that other nations have up and coming dreams who don't feel the same way. The series opened viewers' eyes, revealing that Americans are usually naive when it comes to other cultures and how people are really living in those nations. I think that World News should continue with more stories from other nations around the world. Thank you for the inspiring and motivating special!!
Yes! Go Chinese people!

I think this series was really an awesome idea. People here in America really don't understand Chinese culture at all. They think we're just chopstick-using, small-eyed people who don't really know how to live a "fun" life. But we are SO much different than what people think of us. especially in China's fast-growing society. Wang was a perfect example of a young adult growing up in China. studying hard, respect to parents, not as much "breaking-the-rule" stuff as here in America. and what he said about being more "open" (saying "I love you" to his future kids and showing public display of affection) was totally influenced by America. as he said, China is being greatly influenced by America. I just hope that they won't become too influenced because China needs to have its own unique society. AWESOME SERIES! Thx ABC NEWS!! xDD
Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Something worth watching

This series help bring us back to reality, we are bombarded daily with ridiculus news, like celebrity cutting off thier hair, instead of inspirational stories that open the mind of future youth. I can't wait for the DVD to come out!!!!!!

This program teachs people, that we need to be thankful of what we have. Because alot of people don't have the things we do.
Being from another country and coming here, I thank my parents for giving me a better life. I wil alway love Guyana and never forget the things I learned from there.
