AFMXA Update on Ox: Jeff is out of surgery. He had a laceration in his intestine, some hematomas and bruising on his stomach. The Dr said he was very lucky with the location on his intestine; it was close to something major. He's in recovery and will be at Scripps for the next 4 days and then at home for recovery for a month or so.

Early Saturday AFMXA member Jeff "OX" Kargola was in an accident while pre-running the Baja 1000 in Mexico. The AFMXA received word that Jeff was in a clinic with a laundry list of injuries and we went to work! Medjet assist was called as Dr. Gus Gialamas stayed in contact with the Dr's at the clinic in Mexico. By 2:4...5pm Medjet was in the air and Jeff was on his way home.
