AFT Washington, AFL-CIO The November revenue forecast for state government shows revenue for the general fund down $760 million. The governor says all options to balance the budget are on the table and has talked about eliminating whole programs to balance the remaining biennial budget (2010).

The Washington State Budget & Policy Center issued a new report showing that the federal estate tax provides billions of dollars a year for essential priorities for the public good like education, the environment, and national security.
