ALFA This link is a description released by conress about the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act, which was signed on Oct 30th. In short, this extension will continue funding the Minority AIDS Initiative, designed to draw necessary attention to the epidemic among minority and ethnic groups and authorizes a 5 percent increase in federal support for HIV programs during the next four years.
