Ben Lattin looked forward to Ron Reagan every weeknight. He brought calm and rational thinking to the political debate. Nothing against Norman Goldman, I'll try to tune in later but until then I'll sorely miss my daily dose of Ron!

Why is Palin so interesting? That is what Big Ed asked yesterday. For 8 yrs there was little analysis or thinking going on. Mostly reaction. America was in a stupor.Obama represents a thoughtful approach. Careful analysis, some debate, and measured action. But his approach requires looking at tough issues. I like it bu...t for those who miss the stupor non thinking days of GW Bush, she is a welcome break from the headaches that come from thinking.
