On March 26 and 27, 2008, the Eisenhower Institute (EI) and Gettysburg College's Center for Public Service (CPS) will sponsor an Immigration Forum at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa. The forum seeks to promote civic discourse concerning immigration - a subject that strongly affects the mid-Atlantic region's future.... The forum will be comprised of both public and private events. Public events are to include a screening American Harvest, a documentary film that explores the issue of immigration, and a panel discussion.
"The combination of the film American Harvest and the panel of multiple perspectives on immigration policy offers the opportunity for our campus and community to critically reflect on national questions which have direct impact in our county," Gretchen Natter, Director of the Center for Public Service, said. "The Forum offers students, faculty and community agencies the opportunity to think about their every day actions in the community in a larger context." Read More

We share in the institutes's mission of promoting nonpartisan and civil discourse on significant issues of public policy.
