ASTD–Lincoln
The goal of this presentation is to enhance morale, motivation, and performance through a fun, high-energy, motivational presentation which explores the lessons learned from studies of successful companies, teams and individuals. It will review specific steps to leverage the lessons and offers tips for implementing the...m. Much of the presentation will be based on the research findings conducted by Dr. William E Meyer on what he termed the “ultimate weapon” used by North Korea in their POW camps. The ultimate weapon used was to “deny men the emotional support that comes from interpersonal relationships.” These POW camps, while not considered cruel or unusual and free of common physical torture tactics, raised the overall POW death rate to its highest in history. Some of these tactics are present in our work environments. Even though they may not kill physically, they are killing motivation and productivity.

2. What do we need to do to use social principals successfully?
3. Four actions that we can take today to help us realize personal and professional success?
