Brighton after an exciting tour of Europe. Joining him are the
refreshingly different Pony Collaboration. At full strength, they boast
a versatile eight-piece line-up capable of playing everything from
stylophones to samplers, and between them they craft a ...delicate and
beautiful sound that recalls the likes of Lambchop or Tindersticks.
Their debut album was received with critical acclaim being named
‘DisCover Album of the Month’ on the Drowned in Sound website and Steve
Lamacq hailing debut single, ‘The Fast Lane’, as “charming and almost
timeless”. Second album ‘If These are the Good Times’, is due to be
released on Series 8 records on 9th November 2009. Along with The Rifle
Volunteer who make music de la pop mélodique et somber, there is no
better way to spend your Sunday evening.
