A magical and moving love story of two people who embark on an ext...raordinary journey from silence to sound. This is a deeply personal memoir about her deaf parents’ complex decision to undergo cochlear implant surgery. (2007, Winner, Sundance Film Festival, Audience Award for Documentary, 2007)

* LIVING RIGHTS – YOSHI (English Sub Titles), By Duco Tellegen, NETHERLANDS
The compelling stor...y of a sixteen-year-old who has Asperger’s Syndrome—a form of autism. Yoshi dreams of attending a regular Japanese high school. With humour, wit, and creativity Yoshi makes a strong case for all of us to believe he should. (French Ambassador’s Prize - Pärnu International Documentary FF, Special Mention Human Rights – 58th Locarno International Film Festival)

* BODY AND SOUL: DIANA & KATHY (Open Captioned), By Alice Elliott, USA
A rare look at a crisis in an unusual relationship between two people with disabilities. The story moves beyond disability and activism to acceptance of a profound, symbiotic friendship. (2007 Winner Crystal Heart Award & nominated for IDA- Short Documentary Award)

A touching memoir by Sandrine Bonnaire, chronicling the life of her sister who has autism.
