Looking for advise. I'm a 51F 5K er who is running her first 1/2 marathon in a week. The longest I have run is 9.5 miles at about a 10min pace with 2 quick stops for water. Felt good at the end but legs a little shakey and fatigued. Question: Is it better to run/walk (ie. 6 min. run, 1 min. walk), or to just run a ...steady but slower pace. Also, recs on any mid run nutrition? Hate to make 10 miles and find I had nothing left!Read More

You have done very well on your training to run 9.5 miles for 1/2 marathon - I would recommend, to start slower (than usual pace) for first half of the race, run walk is a good option swell and always eat before you are hungry and drink before you are thirsty - That always helps.
