You should be very proud of what you accomplished this year. Although "w"s are usually how many judge the team, I think a better rating is on the maturity and talent development that occurs as the year progresses. You and your teammates have shown a lot of heart while working through a lot of challenges. Feel good about what you did, continue to strive to be better, and don't forget that your friends are behind you all the time.

Ranked as one of the top quarterback prospects in the nation coming out of high school, MarQueis Gray was highly regarded as a football recruit and went on to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, where he announced he would be playing for coach Tim Brewster and the ...Minnesota Golden Gophers. In the game, he displayed his dual-threat abilitiy as he scored two touchdowns, one through the air and the other on the ground. In his freshman season at the University of Minnesota, Gray has seen limited playing time but has flashed some big-play potential in scoring a receiving touchdown against California and throwing a touchdown pass against Ohio State. Coaches plan to increase his game minutes as he continues to learn more of the offense.
