Versions of Adobe products tested with Windows 7
Adobe has tested Adobe Creative Suite 4 and Adobe Creative Suite 3 with Microsoft Windows 7. Although Creative Suite products and components prior to CS3 may perform as expected, there might be issues that might affect the installation or use of your Creative Suite product. These versions were not included in our testing efforts because they were designed, tested, and released several years before Windows 7 became available. Because these versions were not tested, they are not supported by Technical Support. Upgrading from previous versions of Windows to Windows 7
Many previous versions of Windows require a clean installation of Windows 7 instead of an upgrade. If you need to do a clean installation of Windows 7, you'll need to copy all your personal files to an external drive before you install Windows 7, and reinstall all your Adobe applications afterward. If you do need to reinstall your Adobe applications, you may be required to activate them. This won’t count as an additional activation as long as you installed the software on the same hardware as before. Use the below matrix to determine if you need to perform a clean Windows 7 install, and to reinstall your Adobe applications. If you have questions about the matrix, or the Windows 7 installation, please contact Microsoft.

Have you reloaded Premiere software? Sounds like either a file is corrupted or too many temporary preview files might be choking your memory? If you're happy with what you have on the line and don't anticipate "undoing" some edits, you might consider deleting these temp files... That said, I'm no expert, but this is what I've experienced. I believe your memory "dump" is cleared out with rebooting... thus the reason the system will work for a while before filling again.

I will try the temp files. That does make sense. It does seem to happen when I have to use tons of photos. It did help when I shrunk the photos down to 1200 by X resolution.

Ensure your keyframes are trimmed out to the end of your clip.

Also the "Links" app.

I believe this feature is called picture in picture.
