Federal law requires that a protection and advocacy system operate in every state to protect the rights of people with mental or physical disabilities. Don't forget that Saturday, May 3rd is an important Election Day. In both the 1st and 6th Congressional districts, Louisiana voters will be electing new representatives*. The Advocacy Center will once again staff a voting hotline from 6 a.m.
