The 337 Project was an unprecedented art event in downtown Salt Lake. Over 100 artists turned a bland office building into a living work of art. 10,000 of salt lakes residents f...locked to the building during its fleeting two-weekend opening. The 337 building was then demolished to make way for an exciting new mid-rise made entirely from shipping containers!
The 337 Project Documentary follows the journey of the building: Beginning with blank walls, riding with the artists on their journey to transform the building, documenting the reactions of salt lake's most influential spokespeople, to the buildings final and spectacular raising.
This screening is designed as feedback preview, space is limited. The official premier will be held at the Salt Lake Art Center on June 13th at 7:30pm. The film will also play as part of the Art Centers 337 retrospective show: Present Tense.
