Ageless Dreamer Foundation Eddie’s long held dream was simple and very heartfelt – he was dreaming of having a ride in a red car. Every day, since he was a young boy, Eddie would sit on the front porch of his home waiting for a red car to pass by – and when one did, his eyes would light up and he would wave! Eddie’s wave was known by every...one in town and even students on a local school bus would wave back when passing by Eddie’s porch.

After much planning, one fine day a shiny red sports car was waiting for him at the entrance of his home to take him for his dream ride. Eddie was especially pleased when he got to sit behind the wheel and have his photo taken.

Ageless Dreamer made Eddie’s dream come true through the generosity of Tri-City Dodge and Subaru, Somersworth, NH and invaluable help of the volunteer Ken Plante, Comptroller of the dealership. Ken enjoyed the experience almost as much as Eddie.

Once the ride and photographs were complete, Eddie went inside his home, and along with his caregivers, enjoyed a cake designed like a street complete with signs and all – including a red car! Thank you to Harvey’s Bakery, Dover, NH, for sharing their creativity at the last hour with Ageless Dreamer!

Eddie’s dream came true and now it was everybody’s turn to wave at Eddie, who had a grin on his face, as he rode past them riding in the red car.

Laurie Widmark The book, The Art of Possibility, by Rosamond Stone Zander and husband/Conductor Ben, has me intriqued. It's all invented, they say, and I'm practicing by asking myself "what assumptions am I making, that I'm not aware I'm making, that gives me what I see."

www.benjaminzander.com
Based on the principles developed through the authors' unique partnership, Mr. Zander gives presentations to managers and executives around the world and Ms. Zander conducts workshops for organizations on practicing the art of possibility.

If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all. And so today I still have a dream.
