Aggressor Fleet Aqua Lung President, Don Rockwell, joined Wayne Hasson and guests from all over the world on the Cayman Aggressor IV last week for a successful Demo Dive Week. Guests got to sample new equipment, some of which is not on the market yet. 'It was a week of incredible diving in Little Cayman, Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman w......ith lots of marine life encounters and crystal clear water.' Next scheduled Demo week is on the Turks & Caicos Aggressor II October 9-16, 2010.

Aggressor Fleet Professional underwater photographer, Marty Synderman was onboard as our host this week with a group of divers all the way from Poland. One of the highlights was the tide changed on the north side of Namena on "North Sav-A-Tec" pass! A drift dive along the wall in 80 ft of water produced Walu, Dog Toothed Tuna, Grey r......eef sharks, schooling jacks, Barracuda's and 2 giant Hammerheads! We then drifted through the archway and over to Kansas where we enjoyed the soft corals as well as the "window of dreams!" Awesome dive and several guests stated this was their best dive ever! Thanks Marty for your beautiful photo and a wonderful week! The Crew

Aggressor Fleet Captain Amanda Reports: "It always amazes me how quickly whale charters come around and this year is no different. Just weeks away and already eyes are peeled for the tell tale signs of the Humpback Whales as the end of their migration nears and their journey to the south is complete. It is not unusual to start seein......g them as early as November, in and around the Turks & Caicos Islands, so we are forever on the lookout at this time.
In our dedication to seeing Humpbacks, it seems that we may have discovered a pair of beaked whales in residence (if only temporary) around French Cay. Last week two of these, much smaller whales, joined us during a surface interval fishing charter, much to the delight of crew member Marc and guest Kalli. Again today two more (and we like to think that they are the same pair) surfaced on numerous occasions close to the Aggressor, this time for all to see. Let's hope they remain as weekly visitors. A fleeting, but breathtaking encounter......
......and we are still looking out for the humpbacks!"

DEMA 2009 was again a great time! While the attendance was down, business was up as those who attended were serious about live-aboard diving!

Aggressor Fleet Kona Aggressor II. This week we started our expedition at Kaloko’s Arches. This site’s topography made it a great home for octopi, eels, and Potter’s Angelfish. We also encountered a couple of Dragon Morays. Just one Dragon Moray sighting is a rare occurrence so this group was especially excited. The honeycombed la......va formations make great hiding places for some of our shyer species. One species that certainly is not shy is the Manta Ray. They may be a little bashful during the day but once the sun sets and the plankton arrives they are all business. With lake-like conditions we dove in to Garden Eel’s Cove to witness the Manta Rays in their feeding frenzied prime. Our night dive at Au Au Crater gave us a great dancing Spanish Dancer and some very large Hawaiian Blue Spiny Lobster, as well as more Scorpionfish than I have ever seen on one night dive. Thanks again to everyone for making this such an exciting and enjoyable trip. We hope your continued travels bring you great experiences and we hope to see you again soon. Until next time, MAHALO. The Kona Aggressor II Crew...
