Justine Henin (born 1 June 1982), formerly known as Justine Henin-Hardenne 2002–2007, is a professional Belgian tennis player. On 14 May 2008, Henin announced her immediate retirement from professional tennis. She was 25 years old and ranked World No. 1 at the time of her retirement. Billie Jean King has said that "pou...nd for pound, Henin is the best tennis player of her generation." She announced her return to competitive tennis on September 22, 2009.
Henin won 41 WTA singles titles and more than US$19 million in prize money. Seven of those titles were Grand Slam singles titles, including four French Open titles, one Australian Open title, and two US Open titles. She also won the year-ending Sony Ericsson Championships twice and the singles gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Tennis experts cite her mental toughness, the completeness and variety of her game, her footspeed and footwork, and her one-handed backhand (which John McEnroe has described as the best single-handed backhand in the women's or men's game as the principal reasons for her success.
Nadia Petrova (born June 8, 1982 in Moscow, Russia) is a Russian professional tennis player. Overall, she has won 27 WTA Titles, nine in singles and eighteen in doubles. In singles, Petrova has reached a career high ranking of World No. 3 in May 2006 and has reached the semi-finals of the French Open in 2003 and 2005 and in doubles, won the year-ending Sony Ericsson Championships in 2004 with Meghann Shaughnessy. As of October 5, 2009, Petrova is ranked World No 17 in singles and No 14 in doubles.

Amr Abdel Basset Abdel Azeez Diab (born October 11, 1961) is an Egyptian singer and composer of jeel music; the contemporary face of Egyptian al-jeel pop music, according to World Music, and one of the most popular singers in the Middle East. Diab is the best-selling Arab recording artist of all time, according to Let...'s Go Egypt. He was awarded the World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist three times: 1998, 2002 and 2007.
Amr Diab is known as the Father of Mediterranean Music. He has created his own style which is often termed "Mediterranean Music" or "Mediterranean Sound", a blend of Western and Arabic rhythms.
In The Mediterranean in Music, David Cooper and Kevin Dawe referred to his music as "the new breed of Mediterranean music".
According to author Michael Frishkopf, Amr Diab has produced a new concept of Mediterranean music, especially in his international hit, "Nour El Ain".
In his analysis of The Very Best of Amr Diab album, Victor W. Valdivia of Allmusic said: "His music melded traditional Arabic sounds and textures with Western rhythms and instruments. The mesh was dubbed Mediterranean music, and The Very Best of Amr Diab displays Diab's superb skill in creating it.
