It has been over six years since I first started playing music in the New York scene. Now, after completing two releases and encountering so many colorful people, I am quite certain my time as a resident in this great city has come to an end.
Please share this last show with me and all the wonderful people I have met on... this journey. This show will reunite many of the musicians I have worked with from the very beginning (and all of them played on the new record) which include:
Christo Logan on cello (The very first musician I ever jammed with in NY)
Steve Zeller on melodica (I have not played with him on stage in years but he was one of my initial musical supporters when I first arrived in NY)
Tarrah Reynolds on violin (6 years and I just can't let her go)
Alexander Nifong & Michael Eisenstein on percussion (They both came in at the tail end of my NY journey and gave me hope)
And you (I hope)
We are also celebrating the release of the new EP "Monster & Minstrel". The EP will be available for purchase online. You can pre-listen to most of it now at www.myspace.com/ahmondband.
