Fairlawn West United Church of Christ Fairlawn West raised $600 for the Peanut Butter and Jelly campaign for MASON School in Akron. A mission of Willard Food Pantry. Praise be to God. This is the outreach that sends home backpacks with children who do not have meals available at home on the weekends. The backpacks contain food they can prepare on their own. Presently 27 children take home backpacks.

Fairlawn West United Church of Christ This Sunday we are looking at two ends of the building situation. In Numbers we hear how God appointed the Levites to care for the "dwelling of the testimony" - the story of God's people on a mission. In Luke we hear Jesus tell a story about being a neighbor, and the Levite fails the test because he is so consumed ab...out getting to his role at the Temple. We need neighborly, hospitable Levites these days!
