Chariton Valley Electric Cooperative Washing and drying your clothes uses a lot of energy. Try washing your clothes in cold water and make sure you have a full load. Do not over-dry your clothes, 50 minutes is usually adequate. Remember the weather is nice right now, why not dry your clothes with solar power by using a clothes line.
