Happy Thanksgiving!
Remember there's no school the rest of this week (APS administrative offices are open Wednesday; closed Thursday and Friday).
Thought you'd enjoy a little something from some of our favorite song birds to usher in the season (thanks third, fourth and fifth graders and music teachers Ms. Finch and Ms. Lilley at Comanche Elementary School).

Highland High's community liaison Angela Williams and HHS parent volunteers have partnered with the Buffalo Soldiers of Albuquerque and the Martin Luther King Commission to provide students and families with free fresh vegetables, fruit and bread each week. They serve more than 100 families and students a week, and so ...far, have given out more than 90,000 pounds of food. The food comes from the Roadrunner Food Bank, and what and how much is available depends on how much the Food Bank can provide. So give to the Food Bank, or contact Angela Williams at williams_a@aps.edu if you're interested in contributing.
