YAYYY! Considering the fact that he won't even order our state flags to be flown at half mast when an Alabama soldier dies protecting our freedom because if he did that everytime one was killed that's all they would have time to do (I personally was in conversation with a representative from his office about this which makes it not "somebody said... See More" or "I heard")- the fact that he has "officially" named Wednesday Mark Ingram day makes up for all that! NOT!!! There are governor's from other states that clear their calendar to attend the funeral of everyone of their state's fallen & it takes too much time in Alabama to order flags to be flown at half mast!!?? How much time did it take to put out this notice? About the same time it would take to put out a notice to recognize a fallen soldier.

I totally agree with Miss. Ashworth not taking anything away from Mark Ingram and his accomplishments but I think he would agree this is a small task. Pay respects for someone giving there life for our country so him and others that follow can continue to win trophys.
