Mindful Hands the best photo yet of Lissy, our shop kitty (photo courtesy of Becca Borland). Lissy is very shy around cameras so Becca was very patient to get this photo of her. Thank you Becca!

Mindful Hands NEWSFLASH! Maggie, our foster feline, went to a wonderful new home yesterday. Her new parents are a lovely young couple with a dog, so we're all keeping our fingers crossed that she likes her new playmate.

Mindful Hands THANK YOU to everyone who voted for us in the American Express "Shine A Light" award. We were not chosen as one of the 3 finalists, however, we could not have gotten as far as we did in the judging phase without the help of all of our wonderful friends and supporters. Thank you!

Pat King Have always been a fan.

Linda Lloyd Sally - Thanks for the invitation. I'm just back in Chinese herbology school at that time which means I will be swamped. Sounds wonderful though. Linda

Mindful Hands Join Anita Edgar of El-Shaddai Charitable Trust (www.childrescue.net). Bring a brown-bag lunch and come hear Ms. Edgar's riveting talk on the activities of her charity and the lives of the street children, both before and after their rescue from the slums of India. Like the film, Slumdog Millionaire, her tale is both... profoundly heartbreaking and sublimely uplifiting. Free.
