There are some Christmas sales now but not many. However, the heavy ones will start between mid and end of November. There are Christmas decoration in some of the popular spots already such as Ocean Terminal etc

hi. i'll be reaching macau airport in the evening around 5-6pm and plan to stay 2 nights (Saturday & Sunday). But still a long way to go since my trip is end of march 09. But checking out info now :)

Wanna ask also any budget place to stay in macau Sat and Sun nigh?. Unfortunately, Saturday night is very expensive in Macau...There's a budget ... Read Morehostel called Auguster's Lodge and they charge around HKD130 per night per person. Umm..place dont look so nice...so may plan to stay 1 Saturday night there t save $$ and then next day look for another place to stay like Ole' London Hotel. Any suggestion & advice? We plan to stay in Macau city near Senado Square (walking distance).

thanks. but im not going on the 6th. the airasia fooling me around.. changing my flight time from mornin time to nite time. and say i can change to 1 day earlier if i wan. so now i agree to change the date but they say 'im sorry.. we dont hav flight on these day' .. XXXX

Actually Macau is very small, so it doesn't matter whether you stay at the Macau island side or Taipa side. But sorry I am not familiar with accomodation in Macau, so can't suggest any nice place for you...

Depends on your budget. The best hotel is Grand Hyatt, then comes to the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel, these 2 hotels are the closest to the HKCEC. Another one is The Harbourview, the price would be a bit lower than Grand Hyatt and Renaissance Harbour View. Hope this info helps~ :)
