That article from Slate was a whack job and unfair to NPR. The writer also did not disclose that NPR did air a CD he produced in 2006 called "Jewface". It still is on the NPR site. Besides, today there is no longer is a thing as "Black" music. Black musicians are not limited to "race" records anymore. Black musicians play quite successfully in all genres of music.
