All this talk about Swing Flu got me thinking about how rarely I take a sick day - even when I’m actually sick. There are many of us out there. Some are proud of perfect attendence records. Others are workaholics. However, our stubbornness may be putting our coworkers (or classmates) at risk. ...

AllAboutNetwork.com Kyle is an 87 year old rancher in Clareville Texas. His daughter called recently to tell us that he uses his Chi Machine every day and has never felt better. Sarah says the Chi Machine is keeping her father active at his age. "He has more energy now than he did ten years ago!" She's glad he has the energy to keep up wi...th his grandkids.

We get calls from customers all over the world praising the Chi Machine. What is it about the Chi Machine that people respond so positively to? After using a Chi Machine, energy surges throughout your body, warming your muscles and organs, stimulating the sympathetic and lymphatic systems and giving the sense of health and fitness that requires hours of exercise to achieve. At the end of the process, new neural pathways are formed and the body begins the healing process. This happens on a small scale, like the healing that can occur after a long day of work and on a larger scale to heal your body from years of chronic fatigue and built up stress.

AllAboutNetwork.com I wanted to take a moment to enumerate my vision for the New Healing Arts space.

Designing the space and manifesting the next part of my journey is an exciting process. So far, I’m pretty certain this new venture is going to be called “Oasis”. The tagline will be something like “Rest, Rejuvenate, Renew”. I’m still worki...ng on the third word.

My vision for the space is a combination of continuing the work that matters to me and providing a space for my community to develop and thrive. I look forward to offering to you some of the things I love. The process that feels closest to my heart is the work I’ve developed: Sound, Movement and Massage as Medicine...

AllAboutNetwork.com Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese healing method. Shiatsu means “finger pressure.” Unlike Western massage, where kneading and friction is used, with shiatsu, pressure and stretching is the key. The shiatsu practitioner uses palms, fingers, thumbs, knuckles, elbows, knees and the feet, to work on the body’s accupucture ...points, along what they consider the body’s meridians or energy channels. It's a form of “touch communication,” and is a safe and effective preventive medicine. It helps to balance energy flow and strengthen the vital organs. These massagers effective simulate shiatsu massage for a healing massage in the comfort of your own home without an appointment.

AllAboutNetwork.com I went up to Port Townsend, Washington with my friend Sky Yeager October 10th - 12th. We don't get to spend much time together, so it was a chance to get away and have time to connect, and the fact that he drove only added to the weekend. It's 4 hours to Port Townsend. Have you ever been? It's an amazing town. There ar...e only about 9,000 people there; I think 1,000 of them must be massage therapists! The town's architecture, from the early 1900s, is amazing. The workshop was a Soul Motion retreat with Zuza Engler, the number 2 person in the Soul Motion world. It was sponsored by the Madrona Mind Body Institute, an organization headed up by Aletia Alvarez and Allison Dey. It's located in Fort Worden State Park, which was a military base that is now a life-long learning center. The theme of the workshop was Body Prayer. I just love moving my body to good music. I really felt the healing power of music in some of the tunes Zuza played.

AllAboutNetwork.com I'm a certified Yamuna Body Rolling instructor. Body Rolling is the most fun and effective way to get in shape and stay fit. I've been known to use my Red Ball at the airport while traveling. I love when people come up to me and ask me what I'm doing because I'm pleased to spread the word about the versatile and effective practice of Body Rolling.
