Do I speak WHAT?
That’s right. Jižní Město church in Prague, Czech Republic, is in desperate need of native English speakers who would be willing to teach conversational English for a weekend. Adult teaching is done in a low-key small group environment. Children and Teen helpers are also needed. We are praying for at... least 6 believers who would be willing to help make this fall English Camp a possibility. Dates are Nov. 13-18. Anyone, any age can pack a shoebox of gifts for a needy child around the world. And we need help doing just that. We were blessed last December to receive thousands of items for shoeboxes from local dollar stores that another organization failed to pick up. These items, along with other donations, are waiting to be ...placed in shoeboxes for needy children around the world. We are now ready to pack them into shoeboxes and we need your help.
We will be having a regional shoebox packing party on Friday, October 3rd from 5-9 pm and Saturday, October 4th from 9 -5 at Bethel Church, 418 Elm Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. We hope to pack 2000 shoeboxes but we can't do it alone. So invite your family and friends and help make this event a success.
Stop by and pack a few or many shoeboxes for needy children impacted by natural disaster, war, famine or poverty. Join the fun!

All of the late fall, winter, and early spring retreats at Pinebrook are in jeopardy! Can you imagine no Sno Glo? Pinebrook needs your ministry teams now. Plan to get your church involved!
Due to increasing heating oil costs ($5100 in 2005; $15,000 in 2008; $27,000 next year) Pinebrook is forced to winterize its buil...dings. We are estimating the cost to be around $300,000. However, volunteer labor might reduce this drastically.
More will be said later as to what all we will be doing - energy studies are in process. But we are sure that we will need work groups during the month of September (weekends and week days) and beyond.
We will be working closely with Board of Missions' Chris Merrick. You could either contact him or me for more information.

We Welcome John and Kathy Hoover to the BOM Family
John and Kathy are candidates with AMF and members of the Lancaster BFC. The Hoover's plan to be involved in evangelism in the New England area. They are the parents of three girls Olivia, Callie and Allison.
