Pop Champagne & Dessert Bar has developed a special three course menu to complement the exciting new vintage. Starting with a Soupe Ratatouille, the dinner proceeds to a main course of Coquille St Jacques Cordon Bleu served with prosciutto, and concludes with a pear tart poached in Champagne topped with glace à la vanilla, vanilla bean ice cream. There will also be opportunities to bid on grand prizes from area merchants, as well as a case of the new vintage courtesy of eminent Beaujolais producer Georges Duboeuf, flights on a Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft, helicopter rides, paintings and prints by French artists and other auction items.

Beaujolais Nouveau, the renowned French wine made from Gamay grapes, is the most popular vin de primeur in the world, with an annual ritual of officially releasing it for sale on the third Thursday every November. Tasting the first fruits from this legendary region is an eagerly awaited experience by wine lovers everywhere.

The Alliance Française de Pasadena was founded in 1924. Its purpose is to encourage the study of the French language and culture and promote understanding and friendship between French people and others who share these interests. The Pasadena chapter differs from other language schools by offering a blend of language learning and cultural immersion.
