Allie Fox Today in the studio we tweaked the string parts on the new album. Actually we did very little, opting for a dry & natural sound, keeping all the beautiful woody acoustic frequencies you associate with cello & viola. We had a photo-shoot (I hate having my photo taken!). The photographer was hanging over the edge of a b...ed which is literally suspended from the ceiling above the mixing desk! Surreal.......
Allie Fox Spent some hours with my producer Iain in the studio on 'Wayland's Blues' today. We now have eleven acoustic guitar instrumentals with arrangements for 10 other musicians, now at the 'final' final mix stage & more or less ready for mastering - och jings jings jings!!
