Sim Ops Studios, an ETC Spin-off company recently launched their newest product – Wild PocketsTM – into beta. As part of this launch we’re holding several 24 hour Game Jam events throughout the country, the f...irst one is right here at the ETC!
At the game jam you will have the opportunity to take my challenge and compete against other teams to become the Wild Pockets Game Jam winner. All of the winners will have their games featured on the Wild Pockets website and they will advance to the next round of competition where they have the chance to become the National Game Jam Winner!
The theme of this event is a throwback to retro casual or puzzle games. You can add a new spin on one of your favorite games or start from scratch. Are you up for the challenge? You can get more information or register at www.wildpockets.com/gamejam or by contacting Emily Skopic at eskopic@simopsstudios.com. The earlier you register the more weekly tips you will receive from the Wild Pockets developers. (Teams and individuals can register and food will be provided.)
Sim Ops Studios is also looking for additional sponsors for this event, if you are interested, please contact Emily Skopic at 412-904-5097 or eskopic@simopsstudios.com

Imagine it as a big open lounge where people come and go, talk to others in their industry, and informally showcase demos of what they are working on.
The main goal of Open Coffee is to make investment more transparent to entrepreneurs, and to move away from the formalized "pitch" to an open conversation. Investors can ...give entrepreneurs really valuable feedback, and this environment is meant to foster that in a pressure-free way.
