Torchlight will present another nationally recognized film that is making international news. It is a chilling story of filmmakers who take great risks to capture visual collateral that reveals to its audience undeniable truths about previously denied events. The filmmakers and distributors of the film are allowing F...lorida State University’s Torchlight Program to screen this remarkable feature in the 30A area to a limited audience during its current theatrical release. (Please consider that the film contains violence and may not be suitable for children.)
Please bring blankets and low back chairs.
The Torchlight Films Series screens contemporary feature films to residents and guests of 30A thanks to the philanthropic support from the leadership at Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, The Town of Seaside and the St Joe Community Foundation, Allowing the communities to enjoy the rich and stimulating world of independent film through a partnership with the Florida State University Film School’s Torchlight Program.

A Holiday Celebration with a Flurry of Caring and Sharing
Alys Beach, Florida- (November 17, 2009) - The North Pole announced today that Santa and Mrs. Claus hav...e chosen Alys Beach as their destination for some much needed rest and relaxation this busy holiday season.
In addition, the famous couple has generously agreed to be Alys Beach's honored guests for an afternoon of cookie decorating, fresh hot cocoa and holiday cheer from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, at the 4th annual "Alys in Winter Wonderland" party at Fonville Press.
"We are thrilled that one of the most recognizable couples around the globe has chosen to spend some vacation time here at Alys Beach," said Kelli Arnold, the resort town's Events Coordinator. "What better endorsement for our beautiful area than from Santa Claus himself!"
Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be available to take photos with those children appearing on their "nice list," and encourage all guests to bring an unwrapped gift or non-perishable item to be donated to "Caring and Sharing of Walton County."
