Alzheimer's disease - avoid aluminum (deodorant, face cake make-up, foil, cans, pots & pans, unfiltered water, whitening toothpaste, etc) & eat fresh or frozen organic blueberries! My mother graduated from USC as magna cum laude, "with great honor" an A+ student in 1994. How can this disease ruin such a wonderful mind? Thank you GOD for my mother'... Read Mores Christian friends that love her in spite of her not being able to remember their names. She eventually does remember their name & never forgets that she knows & loves you dearly. Have patience when dealing with repeating yourself every 60 seconds, lost keys, lost papers, lost clothes, lost everything! Yes, I have taken my medication & I have my patch on - uh, mom it's still in the pill tray & your patches are the same number that were here yesterday. Try to understand their frustration & depression. love you mom ;-)
