DVDs/video games without the shrink-wrap and security stickers. The last DVD I bought had shrink-wrap and three sides of security stickers. Not the worst thing in the word, but totally annoying.

If someone still wants to give it as a gift ("Look, I didn't watch it before giving it to you."), they just don't order the AFFP.

1. A dog is a dog. Some people assume their dogs communicate the same way that humans do and, therefore, they try to communicate with dogs the way they would with another person. This is the greatest misconception of many dog owners...

Took me a couple of seasons of watching Cesar for that to finally sink in.

this author is so full of s^&t! i taught my dog to obey commands with out speaking, come when i call him outside, he knows when he has screwed up (and its not because of poor training on my part), and he knows his own name plus several others that i call him by. so this talk of not understanding english is crap! oh yeah and he plays with all of the kids he sees too!
try treating a dog like a human child, instead of an animal, and you will always get great results!

I was recently in New York over Labor Day weekend where, in addition to two same-day SNL-related celeb sightings (Mike Meyers outside my hotel and Fred Armisen exiting a matinee of Man On Wire at Sunshine Cinema) and eating my way around the city--with stops at Bubby's, The Little Owl, Blue Smoke,...

LOL. This is funny, because it IS NOT meant to be taken seriously. If the cry babies are upset about it, then don't look at it, or buy it.
Next thing you know we will have losers whinging about dog costumes. Or even witches costumes (making fun of YET another minority group?)

In the last few weeks we've featured quite a few big domestic cars; so what better subject than a featherweight European hatchback with a domestic nameplate? I've always found European Fords somewhat jarring; it's this incredibly familiar nameplate on generally unfamiliar cars...

I'm sure this is already a popular name for cars in Boston, esp. amongst crows.

My then girlfriend used to own one of these when I lived in the UK --- plus I once got one as a courtesy car for a couple of weeks while my car was in the shop. They are decent and economical little cars for busy city streets. My mother nearly bought one but went for something even smaller in the end with a tiny 900cc engine!

I live in Wyoming now... See More -- a car like that would be next to useless here -- four wheel drive and powerful engine is a necessity at this time of year driving in the snow, plus I have kids now, and couldn't imagine trying to do a weekly shop with the four of us plus shopping in one of those.

Whatever anyone thinks of her singing ability is irrelevant; She's as cute as a button. And NO, Nicolas, she didn't have a hit 20 years ago.

@Nicholas --- I've got at least half a dozen CD albums by her, all of which were commercially successful. Fine if you don't like her and ignored her after "I miss you", which was undoubtedly her most recognizable hit, (overplayed to death to be honest), but you can hardly say she was a one hit wonder.
