The convenience and free withdrawals provided by America First Access 24® Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) make them a terrific benefit.
But we urge you to stay smart and remember a few simple precautions when taking advantage of them:
· If you give anyone -- even a family member or close friend -- your account cards and Personal Identification Number (PIN), you are responsible for any withdrawals. Always take care regarding the sharing of these resources.
· Never write your PIN on any card from America First and don't consider noting it on a piece of paper kept in your wallet or purse.
· Be alert when you approach an ATM and look at your surroundings. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, visit the machine later or use one at another branch. Please report any suspicious activity to us.
· When entering your PIN, be sure no one else is watching and use your body to shield the keypad if possible.
· Leave the area immediately after the transaction and do not count your money until you are safely away from the ATM location.
· Log on to www.americafirst.com/security for more valuable information and tips.
