I'm delighted to see this pioneering aircraft finally getting its chance to show what it can do. I've been a fan of the V-22 since 1990, and I always figured that with decent project management it would be possible to work the bugs out.

I voted for Option 8, Flight Testing the X2. If this concept succeeds, it will provide a good option for those who, for example, might want to take off from the roof of a building in Southfield Michigan and fly directly to Lansing at the speed of one of Mooney's sleek single engine retractibles -- without having to charge down a runway at the beginning or end of every flight. Of course the Osprey provides this capability too, but its good to see multiple concepts being developed.
