The Kremkau textbook is great too. I also used an old Sidney Edelman hard cover book from the library...I forget the name...something really basic like "Ultrasound Physics". Purple cover. I loved it b/c it had a Q&A format and then practice exam questions in the back (500 of them!). It was immensely helpful. Good luck!

Ben Hanson Quick ? What are the most diagnostic weeks for an OB scan. I remember being told it was later than 20 weeks, but I don't remember the reasons. I think cardiac defects was one. Help please!!!!

You’re likely to get a wider range of answers.
I think each practice has to consider the patient’s/provider’s desire to get information as early as possible so her care can be appropriately managed, the gestational age at which the sonographers in the practice can reliably perform a complete diagnostic sonogram in the shortest reasonable time, and strike a balance between the two.
