I used to go to Boblo once or twice a year.My Grandfather was the weeler of the St.Clair boat.We would go up to the weel house to say hello to him.
We had a lot of fun on the boat and on the island. It was the best.

Kim loved the Witches Wheel! My best friend & I loved going to Boblo as teens!

Dwain misses his grandfather. The last thing we did together before he passed away was go to Boblo. I was 7.

Trevor Hurst I remember it was a job for every teenager and awesome summer memories every year. Its sad our kids don't get to experience Boblo like we did.

Kristin Oh... seeing that brought back so many great memories! We would go there for the day with my Grammie and she would feed the seagulls by the picnic area while we were on all the rides. Her favorite would be the Pirate Ship and no trip to Boblo would be complete without riding it at least once. I, on the other hand, was a fan of the Nightmare!!

Wendy Thorburn Smith I am pretty sure that some of the rides are at Michigan Adventure, because when we went there with the kids...da ja vu! remember the falling star ride? I remember many times riding the boat and getting excited as you got closer to the island and saw the rides. My dad's work would have parties there too.

Kelley Get on the boat, on the Boblo Boat :)!

Marian Imastar wow when I saw this I got the warmest feeling.... F it let's get a boaT and go to Boblo!!! I also remember thinkin that can't touch this was about to come on and it was Rick James "give it t me baby" The whole boat was bamboozled!!! LMao~~ long live boblo island great great memories!!!

Nicole Kruszyna I remember going there all the time as a kid...going on that spinning ride where the floor drops out (Rotor I think?) used to make me sick everytime but it was so fun. :) LOL

Linda Hearing the name Boblo Island brings back so many family memories. It was a time when families got together a truly enjoyed all the exciting games and rides had by all.

Nancy Smith Manning I remember going there as a kid. First with the church outing with Asbury Methodist Church. Then it became a family thing. After I got married and had children we took them there. How sad that the family park is gone

Kristine I practically lived at this place, and when I was old enough...worked there. Fun memories of squeaky rides, greasy food, and great friends...

Karen Have a lot of memories of Boblo Island!!! We lived in the City and we spent many days there! Wow, those were the memories!!! Wish Boblo was still there!!!
