Greystone Manor The Amish are the most amazing people, I work with them everyday and each they they teach me something new about life, family, sharing they are just awesome people. If you come to Lancaster you can actually goto their house and have dinner or an Amish baking lesson, call me I can set it up for you 717-393-4233 they love welcoming new people into their homes.

Tracie Abbey these people are beautiful and godly in all they do. i would give any thing to join their way of life. i know it would be a challenge but i think the rewards would be endless. its a shame i live in australia.

Billie Bradley Let me ask why are the Amish so good?

Susan Our 2nd trip to Lancaster, Pa in 2 months.... Loved the area and the Amish community... what a humble and loving community!!

Crys Andson I have a God lead interest in Joining a conservitive anna baptist community like amish, mennionite ect...... does any one know of any taking new members ?

Per Einar Lian I am living a some kinda amish life in NORWAY

Luke Wright Amish people are douchebags and road hazards, also some of the biggest weed suppliers in the area. Hows THAT for cute.

Megan Small i spent my summer with my aunt and uncle who are seeking to be amish and join a community in smyrna maine! i basically lived amish for two months, attending their church and every single day with 16 amish families. it was amazing..

Val Kay Heike I drive for the Amish in Allamakee County in Northern Iowa. As a social entrepeneur I don't make any money but make more then mere monitary gain. As a full time student who will one day return to Virgini's Shenadoah Valley of Virginia, all the time I'm blessed by spening time in the past is awesome for me.

Jennifer Smith Decanter i went to see the amish in pa back in the 90s 3 times for school i loved it there and would love to come back it was 1999 when i was last there

Carmen Smith I've been intrigued by the Amish for years now. I'd love to visit Amish country, but I refuse to go gawking with a tour group. How does one befriend Amish people without seeming condescending or anything? I have a genuine interest in their lifestyle.

If you are looking for a serious website, look at the Amish Studies Website that the Young Center at Elizabethtown College maintains. Don Kraybill and Stephen Scott work there, noteably the foremost experts in the field. I believe Stephen Nolt is there this year as a fellow, also a prolific writer on the Amish. It is a VERY informative site.

Katie Stoik Hey everyone! SO I'm writing a research paper on the Amish people and I need to have an interview of some sort. I was wondering if anyone knows somebody I could nterview. I was thinking I would have the best chance of interviewing someone who has left the Amish lifestyle, so just let me know! Thanks!

Lise Hanna Jonsèn Do we find Amish communities outside US and Canada?
