The classical concert is being held to raise funds for Titus Ani, a Nigerian who has been on death row in Indonesia for 5 years without proper legal representation. The funds are needed for Titus’ final legal appeal to cover the costs of the Indonesian lawyers.

A new opinion poll conducted for Amnesty International has found that 70 percent of Australians believe improving the living conditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be a high or very high priority for the Federal Government.

Amnesty International fears the wave of arrests of civil society activists in Iran is intensifying after lawyer and human rights activist, Shadi Sadr, was violently arrested in Tehran on her way to Friday prayers last week.
