I saw you play with Dave McIsaac and Louis Benoit at the Old Triangle Pub in November, but you weren't introduced and, being from away, I had no idea who the amazing fiddler was! Luckily I took a photo that was later identified. Glad to have found you at last. Now, to get a CD and do some more listening.

Hi Andrea! I think we are distant, distant relatives. My maternal great-grandmother was Margaret (Gillis) Currier (born in Skye Glen, NS). Her mother was Susan (Beaton) Gillis and her father was John Gillis. Started making Gillis-Beaton connections about 18 months ago. My uncle remembers hearing my great grandmother yelling in Gaelic to her cousin Jack Gillis when he drove by her house in Gloucester, Mass (where my parents are from and where I was born)...

Paul Strelka we were at the concert in Hartford June 25 and enjoyed it very much; the step dancing was fun but....from the 4th row we couldn't see what your feet were doing 'cos a monitor speaker was in the way :( otherwise, it was great!
