Filled with emotionally complex lyrics, bittersweet melodies and a fleeting nuance of dark piano-drenched pop/alternative sounds (Tori Amos, Damien Rice & Radiohead), Angie's songs recount tales of empty rooms, cold hearts and dreamy longings. Backed by a 3 piece band (drums, bass and cello) her live performances are a semi theatrical musical journey between consciousness and re-accuring dreams. With a charismatic presence and a contagious passion, Angie pulls her audience in for an emotional roller-coaster ride.

An acadian from Prince Edward Island Canada and now living in Montreal, Angie continues to forge her artistic evolution as a singer songwriter and musician. She regularly performs in small venues around Montreal, Toronto, eastern Canada and recently had the opportunity to perform in Los Angeles California, thanks to her MySpace profile. Later this year Angie will make her way across the Atlantic for the first time to perform a few shows...

Last year, Angie began recording new material on her own and in February 2007, she independently released a 4 song EP titled The First Set. Only available through her web site at www.angiemusic.com, the EP has had well over 1500 downloads and over 55 000 plays on MySpace. Along with the release of the EP, Angie also started a story-teller format Internet video series titled My Shattered Windows which currently has over 100 000 views and climbing.

Since the release her EP and video series, the response has been nothing less than amazing with a sudden surge in Angie's online popularity on social network sites such as MySpace, YouTube, and Facebook. Angie has also been rocketing to the top 10 of the Sellaband.com charts, a new generation Web 2.0 music label where an artist’s album is financed and promoted by a global community of believers. With more than half of the required $50k already raised, Angie is well on her way to be the first Canadian to record and release an album with Sellaband!
