Ani Phyo, author, chef, and host of Ani's Raw Food Kitchen Show packing for my 6 week tour to se asia. only taking a carry on with 1 pair of running sneakers, flip flops, 2 bikinis, 2 skirts, 2 shirts, and my reishi mushrooms. not sure about fungus, but thought i'd give it a try. i have to pack my books too for workshop in thailand. and want to keep it all carry on. doing pretty good so far.....

give the groats a good grind into powder. and a dehydrator will help dry your sprouted groats too, or oven on low propped open. not very eco though.

Thanks for responding and I really mean this about you saving my life (!). I've been vegetarian since I was 12, but as the only one in my house, I wasn't supported and basically spent years eating junk and pizza and lots and lots of dairy. My cholesterol skyrocketed.
Well, my brother had a heart attack before he was 40; my mom had double by-pass ... See Moresurgery in her early 50s and my dad has too many issues to name. With the help of your books, I'm eating without guilt, the cholesterol is down and I've even lost 13 lbs since August :-)

that's awesome barbara. also, soy and wheat and corn is not the best source of nutritious food. lots of vegans eat lots of processed soy. not so good. glad raw foods are working for you!!
