My vet sent a note out today about vaccines for Canine Influenza.
Dogs that have recently visited or stayed in communal areas as listed below are at highest risk: shelters, humane societies, adoption/rescue groups, boarding facilities, day care centers, dog parks and beaches, grooming parlors and dog shows or competit...ions.

Animal Friends of the Valleys This dog was found with a "rope" collar completely embedded in his neck. Apparently the owner forgot to check it as the puppy grew...his fur grew out and probably hid the rope...who knows?? Very sad..found as a stray...it went to German Shepard rescue right away....

Suzette J. Salcido All of my bottle-babies got adopted at the last two adoption fairs. I had them from the time they were wee little newborns until they were 3 1/2 months old. Gosh I miss them! But I'm so happy they found loving forever families. Thank you to all of you who adopt shelter pets :)
