Source: www.animalsaustralia.org
60 Minutes' exposé on factory farming showed many Australians their first glimpse at what most mother pigs endure for the sake of pork, bacon and ham products. Watch the never-before-seen investigation video, and read the first-hand account from an Animals Australia investigator.

I think it is a step in the right direction. Opening the eyes of the general public is very hard when they are busy rushing around with their own lives. Most people these days have never even set foot on a farm & never pass a thought for where there packaged food has originated from. Hopefully the add will encourage people to think about this before purchasing this years Christmas ham.

I have a friend who lived in the Middle East. She said that frozen meat is sold everywhere. Is this true? If so, why is there still a need to export live animals? Some one is making a lot of money out of this miserable trade...if you believe the farmers...it aint them!!! So who is?

I rescued 20 cage hens about 3 months ago. They had hardly any feathers and had very limited spacial awareness. Now they have the most awesome glossy feathers and free range on my farm until they decide when to roost. They are so friendly too...so very forgiving considering their horrid past.
