Animals Australia Your help is urgently needed to ensure Animals Australia investigators remain on the frontline fighting animal abuse

Source: animalsaustralia.qnetau.com

Good on Woolworths thats great. I am so impressed in the UK how many things are free range and how many of the products sold in the supermarket, mayonnaise etc all used free range eggs. About time for Australia to catch up!

Thats another big problem...products containing eggs never state if they are free-range or barn laid. Or revolting cage eggs. It should be law that they have to state which one i reckon.

I rescued 20 cage hens about 3 months ago. They had hardly any feathers and had very limited spacial awareness. Now they have the most awesome glossy feathers and free range on my farm until they decide when to roost. They are so friendly too...so very forgiving considering their horrid past.

Cultural standpoints are irrelevant when animals are in pain and being viciously killed and can not fight back. It's has nothing to do with culture, tradition and the Japanese people, it's about the DOLPHINS.

Could not have said it better myself. Culture is used as an excuse for this kind of thing continually- it is absolutely appauling! People need to start thinking for themselves and maybe then they'll realise like every other argument against animal rights, that they've been spoonfed the idea that culture is a reason to justify animal cruelty when in actual fact its a frigging cop out.

The best part of this is that Mc Donalds and Woolworths would only do this sort of thing if demand was great enough. Consumer attitudes are clearly changing. What a pity the law-makers in this country cant respond to what their people want.
