Ginette

Ginette Just received our container with furnitures ans stuff from Holland. Also they packed my dog's stuff like blankets, towels, tennisballs, two bowls, some dog food and some toys - but my dog stayed with my parents.
Would you like some of this? It's not much and pretty used but stil ok.

Why not? I'll leave mine because she wouldn't be happy here. No green, no space to run and swim and chase balls. She's 8,5 now and would be unfair. My parents live almost in a forest... I'm hoping to adopt one though when the baby is bigger but what do you do when you go on holidays? And what when we go back to Europe in 5 years and we can't take it with us?
I wish for you that he can come soon!!!

Hi Ginette, thanx for offering your dog's items! :) If it's not much trouble you can leave them at Pet care vetrinary clinic in Hamra. I'm sure some of our dogs can enjoy them :) Thanx again

Maria Koutentaki Hawari

Maria Koutentaki Hawari HI, is it possible to have a page in Daily Star and/or an arabic paper every week in which the rescues, the adoptions etc. are mentioned?? Arabtimes does that in Kuwait and gulf news in the emirates...and there is always one profile of a person with his beloved pet and the story of that pet, its an eye opener for many ...people who think dogs are just "garbage". Lets talk abt it in the next meeting.

Finally a first step....and I hope we keep on going forward, we all are the only voices the animals have here. Maybe the public will listen better now, thank you May, Carmen and Roger.

Animals Lebanon This holiday season, please be careful not to allow your cats and dogs near the poinsettia plants (also known as the Christmas plant). THEY ARE POISONOUS TO PETS.
Gastrointestinal upset occurs when little material is ingested, but when enough plant material is ingested, seizures, coma or even death is possible. So please be careful and keep your little critters safe.

Animals Lebanon succeeded in sending another 5 cats from the "hoarder's" house to good homes in Holland. Last week 4 cats from that house were sent to Holland. More details of the story can be read on https://www.animalslebanon.org/NewsDetails.aspx?NewsId=62

“I could smell it as soon as I entered the apartment building. As I walked up to the fourth floor the smell got stronger and stronger. Knocking on her door, I knew I was not going to be happy with what I was about to see,” said Maggie Shaarawi, one of the founders of Animals Lebanon.
