Just received our container with furnitures ans stuff from Holland. Also they packed my dog's stuff like blankets, towels, tennisballs, two bowls, some dog food and some toys - but my dog stayed with my parents.
Would you like some of this? It's not much and pretty used but stil ok.

Maria Koutentaki Hawari HI, is it possible to have a page in Daily Star and/or an arabic paper every week in which the rescues, the adoptions etc. are mentioned?? Arabtimes does that in Kuwait and gulf news in the emirates...and there is always one profile of a person with his beloved pet and the story of that pet, its an eye opener for many ...people who think dogs are just "garbage". Lets talk abt it in the next meeting.

This holiday season, please be careful not to allow your cats and dogs near the poinsettia plants (also known as the Christmas plant). THEY ARE POISONOUS TO PETS.
Gastrointestinal upset occurs when little material is ingested, but when enough plant material is ingested, seizures, coma or even death is possible. So please be careful and keep your little critters safe.

Maria Koutentaki Hawari Just read the great story on daily star online....am soo happy that more people will know abt the work you do and hopefully there will be more volunteers to help out as well.

“I could smell it as soon as I entered the apartment building. As I walked up to the fourth floor the smell got stronger and stronger. Knocking on her door, I knew I was not going to be happy with what I was about to see,” said Maggie Shaarawi, one of the founders of Animals Lebanon.
